(2) Film lubrication effect
Due to the nano-size fact, elements such as C in the diamond rapidly penetrate the friction sub-base under the action of sliding friction, forming a continuous lubricating film on the surface, which improves the surface hardness and wear resistance of the friction pair. It can withstand higher loads and prevent direct contact with the friction surface.
